"Asset Building in Assisted Savings Programs:  What matters in structured savings programs and plans?"

This call was led by Bob Friedman with research findings by Michael Sherraden and Margaret Clancy from the Center for Social Development and Deb Adams University of Kansas School of Social Welfare.  The presentation probed some of the findings and data from programs such as IDAs, Matched Savings in 529s, and others, as well as very preliminary findings from the SEED initiative, a national initiative that provides matched children savings accounts for low-income households.
