Steering Committee

Steering Committee members provide guidance and oversight for GIST. The Steering Committee is an informal, collegial group and represents the needs and interests of the diverse range of philanthropic organizations that participate in GIST. Members serve on a volunteer basis. Primary responsibilities of Steering Committee members are to:
- Share ideas and resources to advance GIST's goals;
- Help plan and carry out GIST meetings and other events (e.g. develop agendas, identify potential speakers, and moderate panels);
- Provide financial oversight;
- Participate in regularly scheduled monthly conference calls (first Thursday of every month, 12-1pm EST); and
- Attend an annual in-person Steering Committee meeting.
