Join GIST - Get Involved

Our work is enriched by a range of grantmakers' voices and we would eagerly welcome your participation. Membership in GIST is open to all interested foundation representatives and philanthropic advisors.

By becoming a member, you will be able to network with participating funders and philanthropic advisor working to improve the self-sufficiency of low-income families in the United States. As a member you will be:

• invited to participate in GIST events;
• provided access to an online GIST membership database which provides contact information and details on funding portfolios of participating grantmakers; and
• offered opportunities to share information and ideas through a members only area on the GIST website and through a listserv.

There are no financial obligations, but grants and voluntary dues are greatly appreciated. Contributions to GIST help finance meetings, events, and staff support. GIST members provide dues and grants ranging from $1,500 to $50,000 annually.
